While we driving back to the church after the cemetary Clark drove us to see Rick and Heather's cute new house. As we were coming around the corner - what do I see - Dad's Alma Mater - Evergreen Junior High School. I think this was the place of some of dad's greatest memories. I told Clark to stop and let me take a picture. (I think this was one of the times he said - ARE YOU GOING TO PUT THIS ON THE BLOG?). I remember dad talking about Evergreen so much and I really have never seen it. Must be a great Junior High if they are putting on Guys and Dolls. Does it look the same dad????

ReplyDeleteEvergreen holds for me the fondest memories of my school years. I was only in high school 6 months when Grandpa C. announced the move to California. High school in La Canada, and without my friends with whom I had grown up, was tough. Yes, good thoughts about Jr. High will be "evergreen" in my heart.
