Living the good life

We love having Miss Elizabeth in our family. This evening she slipped off into her room and was being too quiet. Boy were we surprised to see that she had gotten a hold of the diaper rash cream and had "applied generously."

The water in the bath tub would run right off the water resistant cream. It took some good old fashioned scrubbing. She was as good as new after her bath.

San Francisco

Last week we decided last minute to take a trip to San Francisco to see Dallin's sister Aubrey and her husband Kevin. We saw Pier 39 including the sea lions. We walked through Chinatown and had real Chinese food which was probably our first and last time. We went to Ghirardelli square and got our free sample. We ended the day with a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge. It sure is a fun city. Pier 39Beautiful Bay Ghirardelli Square

Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House

It was Rachel and my privilege to attend the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house last night. It is located in West Jordan which is now the only city in the world to house two temples.  It was beautiful.

PIE-oneer Day Party

So the folks here at the University Villa were trying to decide what to do for Pioneer Day. I suggested we make some pies, meat and fruit. Jared chimed in, "Oh a PIE-oneer party?" That settled it. We would have a PIE-0neer party. The main bakers were Nicole, the new girl, myself and Rach helped a bit as well. We made two meat pies, one chicken one pork, as well as a blueberry and rhubarb pie. We invited a few friends over. It was a fun get-together to celebrate the day.

Nicole me, slaving away.

Mmm, Pie

I had everyone put on a Bandana.
