Thanks for a Great Day!!

I had just a wonderful birthday - starting off with a call from Jeffrey and then tons of excitement at seminary!! There were banners, posters, treats and gifts - WOW fun.

Dad took me to LeRoy's for breakfast. We split a spanish omelet and hash browns - so yummy. During the day I was showered with gifts and visits from my wonderful friends. What a blessing. Had nice phone visits. Dad picked me up after work and after he did some culinary magic (see below - Hawaiian Tin Foil Dinners) - we headed to the beach.
As you can see we had the entire beach to ourselves. It was a little bit breezy - but beautiful.
Here you can see our dinner cooking on the grill. Let me just tell you -IT WAS DELICIOUS - we were scraping the foil.
Strolling on the beach with my great date!!

We ended the night with this delicious cake. Thanks for all the love. I always feel like a queen on my birthday.

Hey Buck!!

No not our back neighbor Buck - a real buck. This guy has been hanging around the past two days. It has been a little hot and I find him in the shade of the house on the north side. He doesn't seem the least bit afraid of me. I have chased him out three or four times a day.

Our not so LITTLE boy

We are noticing everyday that Bennett is not so little any more. He is growing up so fast. We love being there with him every minute of the day. The past few weeks he got some new shoes and new clothes and that has made him look so grown up.

Today at church he wore some of the new clothes and some new church shoes. Everyone talked about how cute and grown up he looks and we could not agree more. He is so much fun to be around.

Here is a shot of his two front teeth. We found out that he has 3 molars showing up as well, that just adds to it all. Oh we just hug him and kiss him all day long.

Great Start of Seminary

Thought you might want to see the great kids that I am hanging out with every morning. They are a great bunch and I am LOVING the Old Testament.

Dinner with the bikers

Dallin's aunt and uncle went on a 237 mile bike ride from their home to the coast.  We went out and ate dinner with them one night.  It was so fun.

Eating Dinner
Daniel and Elizabeth helped Karl set up the tent.
Seth enjoyed being in the out doors
Daniel and Elizabeth wanted to spend the night in the tent but we thought their wasn't enough room for all of us.

Anderson Update

Our Big Seth Boy

We kicked off the BYU football season wearing our BYU shirts and eating BLUEberry pancakes.

Gotta love boys in diapers
Elizabeth is on the Lime Green Fireballs and she is lucky enough to have Dallin as her coach.
Elizabeth was a star in the Primary Program (at least in our eyes.)

Coming soon.......February 2012

Its a girl!
And we are beyond thrilled!! She is sweet and shy- doen't like sweets, loves salad and is kicking like crazy.  Robbie has even felt her kick already!! We love our little lady.  Bennett calls her Mimi and points to my belly.  Its so cute.  We can't wait.  Notice I wore a pink hair clip and a blue bracelet to the ultrasound...just to represent either gender!  It was a great day!

Choir Showcase

(Sarah, sorry, there was some sort of corruption

Our 14 month old sweetheart!

Bennett just turned 14 months!

He has become quite the chatterbox.
These are words he uses regularly (the ones I can think of now)

Tree
Please
All Done
Amen (said a few times during longer prayers)
mroe
help
mama
Mommy
Dada
KiKi(Kari and Caitlin)
Harley
Grandpa
Grandma
Doggie
Duck
Quack
Uh Oh
Out
Two
Three
Cool (for shoes)
Hi
Bye
Oh
Baloon
Vaccuum
Cheese
Kick
ChooChoo -for any vehicle
purple
baby (glad we know this one for the coming months)- calls all kids Baby
juice
(To name a few)

This list does not include his 1 or 2 times repeats
-when he repeated Bless you after I said it to someone
repeating zipper (so clear)
-he attempts to say everything we ask him to- its very cute

Bennett loves:
To be outside- he wants to be out all the time.  During the hurricane the winds were horrible, trees were falling all over and Bennett was crying and saying please over and over again because he wanted to be outside.  If someone goes outside without him he is so offended and cries.  Its so sad, but cute.

Sesame Street Song videos- we saw one once and he kept wanting it over and over so we started to explore others in hopes to get the one out of our heads and now we have 15 in our heads at all times. Any time someone is as the computer he says please and brings his hands close to his face and gestures to be picked up...its hard to explain we will have to catch it on video sometime!

Chasing- he loves to chase anyone-and be chased.  He is always running all over the house.

Fruit- Bennett would eat fruit ALL Day every day if he could.

Singing songs- he loves people to sing songs to him.  He always signs for more and says please he loves pat-a-cake.

Talking on the phone- he loves to pretend he is talking to daddy on the phone - since thats who we talk to the most (whe he isn't around).  He does this mostly with real phones but has occasionally used pieces of paper, food and other items as phones.

Dads Hats- He always wants one on and wants Dad to put one on.  He thinks its a sign that we are going outside or going somewhere.  Its very cute!
He loves
coloring
cherry tomatoes
sitting in chairs and benches (like a big boy)
babies- real or in pictures
big books - thick college level ones (he walks around the house thumbing through them)
Macaroni and Cheese

UP!

This is quite a belated post but, because of Dad's fun post about the real life UP! house, I decided to surprise Reesa and take her there. She, of course, had no idea it existed. I set it up by first recommending that we watch UP! which she had no complaints because she loves that movie. We went up the morning after we watched it, leaving early to beat the crowds. We drove up to Herriman, Utah (just over the point of the mountain but really far west). I was nervous having never been there and going off some directions. When we were getting close I had her blindfold herself. I pulled up right in front of the house. I helped her out of the car, put the theme song to UP! on in my car really loud and then got the bouquet of balloons I had gotten before and covered with a blanket in the back of my car, put those in her hand and then undid the blindfold. She was SOOO ecstatic. She couldn't believe her eyes. After taking lots of pictures (we were the only ones there for a while) we found out we could pay to go inside. As you can see, the replication was amazingly critical. We were thoroughly impressed. Reesa even got an "Ellie Badge" from the designer since we were letting other people use our balloons to take pictures. The designer also let us cross the rope and sit in Carl and Ellie's chairs! Then we met Carl himself. No Russell unfortunately. It was a neat, neat experience.
