Streaking Party !!!

So yesterday was filled with many fun events including a few short shopping trips and Cafe Rio with my roommate for fall 2011 Melanie Blood. The day's events ended with a little change in our hair's "natural" color. Here is the front view of our beautiful faces and below is the back. It is not the best picture but if you look to the right bottom corner you can see a little blond streak and don't worry I am sure there will be more to come!

One Beautiful yet Tired Dancer

Elizabeth started her dance class this week.  She is such a beautiful dancer and is beaming the whole time but...Sometimes it makes her very tired.

SNOW DAY

We have had a lot of snow days lately here in the east. It has gotten to the point where we are hoping for NO MORE snow days. We have enjoyed the extra time that we get to spend together. Even though we are ready for no more snow we were hoping for a snow day today so that we could sleep in after watch the BYU game last night, instead of waking up at 5:30am to go to the hospital. We have some pictures of Bennett sledding for the first time in MA, as well as a video of him and what he does during snow days.

Once again!

BYU once again nation's most popular university, says U.S. News

Harvard, Stanford in second and third place

#9BYU vs #4 SDSU
For those of you that live on the West Coast and find yourself looking for something to do tonight. Why not tune into the game tonight? I watched a game on Saturday HERE. I am not positive that it will be here, but it was a few days ago. Any way just thought I would pass that along.

What is it about a smocked dress?

Thanks mom for developing my love for smocked dresses. I just melt every time I see one. This is Elizabeth's new dress that she got for Christmas. She loves to wear it to primary.
Elizabeth has been learning about goals at Joy School. Here is her goal chart. Daniel of course had to be like his sister and have a goal chart too.
Also, Gunny Bag made his first visit to Joy School and boy does it work great with Elizabeth. She has been a great cleaner upper at our house.

While we're in a bit of flashback mode.

These are just from Christmas break . . . but what fun was had. Clearly.
Americana - let me give you a little advice, don't try and pose with Dad. He's incredibly silly.
Of course, a game of life . . . though maybe it was a little too realistic. But what fun we had eh?

WINTER RECITAL RECALL

For this post we are going clear back to 2009. On Dec. 18th the last Cornwall did the Centre Stage Winter Recital. Some fam members were already in town for the -it's-our-year-for-everyone-to-come-home-for Christmas. Soon everyone was here and we just never got around to posting this video for all of you that DIDN'T make it home in time for the recital. Yes, yes I know, it would have been a lot better if this had been posted in December/Christmas time, but I didn't think of it and I don't want to wait for December 2011.

Our Wonderful Simple Moments
I have found out that if you wait for a big spiritual event to happen to bear your testimony, you don't get to bear your testimony that often, it is in simple everyday experiences where great things can happen. The same as posting, if we always wait for something so fun and wonderful or until pictures are edited we don't post as often. So this post is to the small and simple everyday activities that make life great.
Bennett is a homie, it has been coming out as of late. Meaning he likes to be home with us and play all day long.

Bennett is the happiest baby we have ever had, we try to make him laugh as often as possible, but what happens is he makes us laugh much more than we can get him to laugh.
He still loves to play with this little teddy. He also has become quite the trickster.(Its hard to see but he wiggled his little foot out of the bottom of his sleeper.)
We try to read a book or two to Bennett everyday, we have stopped reading them to him right before he goes to bed, because usually the books put him right to sleep.
Bennett has been loving the transition from only milk to the addition of baby food. He has tried many different kinds but as you can see his favorite is chocolate pudding.......just kidding nothing like eating some prunes, he has no idea what good food tastes like.
One of his favorite things to do is to snuggle with Marybeth. He just loves getting all up close and personal and it makes him fall right asleep. Marybeth likes it too, until she wakes up with a dead arm.
He has not quite got the whole "I can move on my own" concept yet, which is fine with us it is nice to know you can put him somewhere and come back to find him in the same spot, only now he is in different positions than we put him in.
Bennett has grown to love the bath, it is his favorite part of the day. His hair has also grown over time and we have a fun time playing with it and doing up the do.
Bennett is growing up so fast. He loves to spend time with Marybeth and I but he always wants to control what we do when we are on the computer.
Bennett has been doing such a great job sitting up. He loves to have a lot of toys around him to choose from and spend some time with each of them.
We recently set up his crib. He loves to play in it and take naps in it. One of these days he will move out of our room and have the whole room to himself.

RETURN TRIP TO BZC

In sorting 2010 slides Dad came across a(nother) batch of previously unposted photos. Back in August when these were taken was a busy time. The Jas Cornwalls were in Austria. Sarah was soon to be taken to BYU, etc....

To celebrate Bennett's half birthday we thought it fun to remember when Grandma & Grandpa C. went back to Massachusetts Aug. 17, 18, 19... for his blessing. He was kind'of a little guy back then.

So Bennett has past the 6 month mark and we are loving every second of him. I decided to make a little collage to see how far Bennett has come in 6 months. Marybeth would have done a lot better but I did the best that I could trying to find pictures that were similar and making them the same size. He is so cute and we kiss him everyday and are grateful that he is a part of our family.
Here are some of the pictures that we took a little bit ago of him at 6 months he is so fun.
