Our Fun New Years Eve!!

We have had a very fun New Years Eve day! It started out with the tradition breakfast out. We didn't take a picture, but we went to Ihop. It was adequate. We ran a few errands in Salina and then we headed off to the Rolling Hills Wildlife Museum!! It was sure fun. Jason did a puzzle.

Paisley played with the legos and the animals.

Then she put on a puppet show for us! After the museum we headed to the Russel Stover Factory store to get some chocolates for our part tonight!

This is Jason and Jarom partying it up with a sippy cup. Jarom went to the doctor today and she said it was time he start learn to drink from a sippy cup. The cup makes him a little frustrated because he can't get anything to come out in his mouth.

We made some yummy carmel bugles and Paisley is loving staying up past her bedtime, eating bugles and watching Fern Gully. We are having a super fun party at our house!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL!

THEY SAY IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY

Happy Birthday to sweet, sweet Rachel. It was quite a year this past year - we wonder what adventures await this girl in 2010!?!?

The Exploration Place

The day started by making Paisley's hair cute! Then we headed down to wichita to use our super fun Christmas present of tickets to The Exploration Place!

It was FREEZING today but we had to stop for a quick picture!

The traveling exhibit was "How to make a Monster" which featured monsters from several different films and the process they went through to make them. This was a monster was used in a cell phone commercial.

There was an incredible castle to play through. It was multi-leveled and had a lot of different rooms and activities within the walls. It was pretty fun!
At the end of the monster exhibit there was the crocodile from the Peter Pan movie from 2003, this cute poster was next to that exhibit. Jarom and I would make a tasty dinner.

Paisley would make a yummy snack.

And Jason would be a delicious feast!!

Jason was brave and took a whirl in the tornado simulator. Winds got up to 78 mph!

Meanwhile Paisley was building a tower.

We all took turns flight an airplane in the flight simulator. We all crashed the plane, instead of landing it. We'll leave that to professionals!!
We had a SUPER FUN time today at the Exploration Place!! Thank you so much for such a great gift!

Our Anniversary Recap

For Our 7th Anniversary we had a lot of fun!!! We ran a lot of errands all over town. Then in the afternoon our friend called to see if we were interested in going out to dinner for her birthday and we said SURE!! We were already planning on it for our anniversary. So we had a good time going out to eat with a lot more people than we had originally planned. It was a good time!

Anniversary and Our Christmas Miracle!

3 years ago today I married the love of my life, my best friend and the sweetest, most handsome man on the planet! I feel so blessed to be sealed to him for all eternity! This was the beginning of our forever journey together. (Although I feel we met long before then).

This year we have been blessed in abundance and have received a Christmas Miracle!
Coming sometime around July 5th. Every child and every pregnancy is a miracle but for us this is a miracle in countless ways. (I'll explain sometime in the future) But for now lets celebrate because
WE'RE HAVING A BABY!

This is the cutest, strongest baby in the world and we can't wait to meet he/she. As you can see here, our baby is a Red Sox fan (of course). And very adorable! This ultrasound was 3 and 1/2 weeks ago so by now our baby has grown and is looking even cuter (if thats even possible).
I am 13 weeks along and feeling great....and a little chubby, but loving every minute of it!

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR PRAYERS ON BEHALF OF OUR LITTLE FAMILY! YOUR FAITH HAS STRENGTHENED US. WE HAVE BEEN OVERWHELMED BY YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT! THANK YOU!

The Blizzard of 09 (it really happened)

Last night we had nothing, really absolutely nothing. By 2:30 am we had about 8 inches, and it didn't stop until about 2 pm.
Robbie worked hard with the snow removal. This is actualy the second round!
It was pretty deep, some of us had a little trouble getting though it!

Joey Jr. was working pretty hard!
But I wasn't, not at all! And I loved every second of it (and I was only out there for just that, a few seconds)!

Sarah and her playing were beautiful.

And we had some extra fans in the audience - just flew in from Portland this morning.

Christmas Tradition

While at BYU one of my favorite Christmas traditions was to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choirs Christmas Concert in the Conference Center. (It was one of mine and Dallin's first dates.)
The Music and the Spoken Word following the concert highlights special numbers from the performance. We watched it this morning and it was amazing.
Elizabeth danced and sang along. Enjoy!!!

Home and Resting

Rachel got her wisdom teeth out this morning. Instead of going to Dr. Anthony - we had Dr. Jeff do it. So far so great. She walked out, danced on the way home (although she was already on pain medication). We have watched one movie and and now she is resting. It has really reminded me of you four older kids and the fun times we had during recovery. Love you Rachel!!!
