Here is a more recent picture of Carol. It was on the front of the very lovely program. She had picked out her casket - pretty in pink - the flower sprays from the family and one for the casket were so lovely. One of the things I enjoyed the most was the family had a DVD going in the foyer of the chapel, one they had prepared for Carol and Ray's 50th wedding anniversary. There were some pretty fun and amazing pictures. Guy said that he would send me one after things settle down. Those were the days my friends. She had a dream in the hospital that she was going to die, that she saw heaven and it was beautiful. She felt like it was a vision and refused treatment after that point. My mom was asking her if their mom and dad were there. No, she said, only Mel!! Oh, our Grandpa. I think mom enjoyed hearing that.
