EASTER MISSIONARY HOPPINGS

On Easter Sunday Mom and Dad traveled up to Palmdale for Camden Cornwall's missionary farewell.  Elder Cornwall is headed to the MTC on April 10 and then 10 days later to the Texas, Houston Mission.

Immediately after Sacrament Meeting in Palmdale, Mom & Dad, Great Grandpa and Uncle Christopher drove several minutes down the freeway to Newhall for (Dad's) Uncle Jon and Aunt Lynette Neeley's missionary farewell.  On Wednesday they leave for their mission in Palmyra, New York.

The Jon Cornwalls came down to Newhall too, so there was a good representation of Cornwalls for the Neeley's farewell.
Dav-ee and Ken-ee (Dad's cousins) were there to see their dad Jon-ee off on their mission.

Then it was back to Palmdale for a little family get together and Easter diner  with the Cornwalls and the Jarvis'.

Sarah Rocks!

Sarah needed to fill some hours of recreational experience for one of her classes so we went rock climbing on Tuesday afternoon. We ventured to Rock Canyon and hopped on a route. Jeff set up the rope and Sarah was the second to climb. I thought this was an occasion worthy of documentation, so here are some fun photos of Sarah on the wall. It was so great to watch her climb, she's a natural.

Easter Egg Hunt!

Today we enjoyed an easter egg hunt....in the snow.  It was cold but it sure was fun!

 Emary with her loot!

Bennett cleaned up at the bench.  He thought it was a very tricky hiding spot!

Everything is so much more fun with Bennett and Emary!  We love these kids!

Rachel and Spencer

MISSOURI MOMENTS

Jarom's favorite past time this trip was Barrel of Monkees.

Yes, Grandpa was the king monkey.

One of the big projects was building some shelves in the basement.

In the morning we got Paisley off to the bus stop.
Grandma's main project was holding and hugging little Eli.

ELI... WHAT A BLESSING!

It was a lovely winter Missouri day on March 3rd. Mom and Dad Corn were with the Jas Corns for their special day to bless Eli Truman. It was extra special as it ended up being a regional broadcast Stake Conference that Sunday for the Kansas City Stake. Permission was obtained to bless Eli in the living room of Jason and Stefanie's lovely home in Grain Valley.

p.s. Grandma and Grandpa Whelchel were missed. They have a few more months on their mission at the P.C.C. in Hawaii.
