Cabin Fun 03

Saturday, June 13, was the annual Pines Ranch work day.  The kentcorns were augmented by cousin Jaycee, Chuck, and Austin Smith who came up for the day.  Katie and Dallin returned from Deer Valley later in the afternoon.

 A friendly moose came wandering by that morning, but did not stay long.

On Sunday, we all got in our Sunday duds and went down to Peoa to go to Church.  In the afternoon we had our own Primary and had special times with different family members.

By Sunday night everyone had left except Grandma and Grandpa who went on one final walk up the river, across Richard's bridge, past the poppy fields, around by the spring and back.  Then they got up early Monday morning, cleaned, packed and headed back to (hot, dry) California.

Cabin Time

And so the cabin posts continue with even more photos of our time in the mountains. There's nothing better than being in the great outdoors with great people. There was lots of book-reading, camouflage wearing, nature walking, swinging, organ playing, horse watching and bath time splashing. We are so glad we could join in on the fun for a couple of days.

The week at the cabin included a few days with Jeff, Reesa + Wendy, despite it being Jeff's last week of graduate classes.  At the end of the week Katie & Dallin had an overnighter get-away for Dallin's work in Deer Valley.  That gave grandma and grandpa and aunt Sarah some fun times with the "A" kids.
