AHOY! CRUISERS

Jason/Stephanie/Paisley docked in L.A. this (Sunday) morning at the end of their 10 day cruise.

We all drove down at 8 am to greet and hug them.

The two little girl cousins had a brief shy hello.

We enjoyed a very quick 45 minute visit together....

while all 10 of us drove to LAX for the Jas Cornwall's to catch a flight to Kansas. (Hmmm, Dad, isn't that van an 8 passenger vehicle?)

Cousin JOE & Bride LAURA

Dad's nephew - Joe - was married in Visalia on Saturday. Mom, Dad, Katie, Dallin and Miss Elizabeth traveled the 3 hours north of L.A.

Craig/Dad's brother/father-of-the-groom had a grand family presence with Grandpa Cornwall, Kevin & Alla + 2, Kent ++++, Lissy, Cherie & Kurt, Chris & Janell + 2, and Jon & Shirley. The Victorian Garden setting could not have been lovelier. Congratulation and best wishes to Joe and Laura.

Happy 50th Birthday Mom!!!!

Before the Parade Passes By

For those of you who weren't able to attend, we had a lovely birthday parade this morning for our lovely mother!
Happy Birthday

I know this picture is older but I have always loved it b/c you are so beautiful in it. You are 40 - 10, and you are so young at heart. You have been so great to Marybeth and I over the years and to me for half of those 50 years. I hope that you have a great day. We want you to know that we love you 50 times over!!!

YER IN FOR A FUN SHOW

The Plot In Brief: Dealing with a 20 year water shortage a town has it’s public amenities operated by the UGC corporation. UGC took over the town in a revolution of young idealists who are now the older generation - corrupt with money and power. But their controls, imposed by bribed politicians and back-pocket cops, allow the town to survive. Use of the amenities is rationed by high fees. Those who don’t pay suffer severe penalties. The poor townspeople (Sarah)suffer the most. The story opens at “Public Amenity No. 9" administered by the mean Miss Pennywise (Rachel) and Bobby Strong (Kevin Rose), a local helper who soon gets his own revolutionary ideas to follow his heart and get freedom and free access for the people. The rebellion includes kidnaping Bobby’s new found love. The characters and story are over-blown, over-the-top spoofs providing lots of fun and laughs and poignancy.

YER IN FOR A TREAT

We have some pics and video from Rachel and Sarah's latest show. Dad will put together a little video (hopefully) soon. But to start.......
It was opening night last night. Mom and Dad and Angela saw the girls on stage at the Baldwin Park Performing Arts Center. It was great.... Rachel and Sarah are spectacular!

FROSTY N' FRIES (of course) after opening night. No going out with the cast because they have two shows today (Saturday).

I know you'all can't wait to see a couple of things from the show.... Dad's sets. Above is the gungy tile wall.

And the UGC Office w/ desk.

ELIZABETH UPDATE

We had her 4 month check up. Here are her measurments.

Weight:15 pounds 14 1/2 ounces
Height: 25 inches

She is in great health and we need to start brushing her teeth.

Elizabeth was in the presence of a Prophet for the first time. President Hinckley was the BYU devotional speaker and he is sitting down on the floor.
We are giving her lots of tummy time so she will someday learn to crawl.

Becoming Fall

It is becoming fall here in Kansas and so I have gotten out my leaf wreath. I made this a couple years ago in Provo. I have no idea where I got the idea but it was fun to paint and make the wreath. Luckily we already had a nail in the side of our house so it is perfect for all the cute decorations we have for all the different seasons and holidays!

The storm door in the top picture Jason installed all by himself. It was kind of complicated and so we were very proud when it was finally up and we love it!

The juice is loose!

Well if we are coming out into the open with NEW BLOGS, I guess we have one to add as well. Marybeth took this on herself. There are a lot of people that she knows from the East Side that have blogs, and they like to check ALL of them. They don't know the Cornwalls from the West, so they said they didn't want to comment on the "Family" blog. So this is for those that want to know about the Robbie and Marybeth Cornwalls only.

New Blog

For all those silly folks that are slightly obsessed with looking at other's blogs I have a new one to go to that is pretty cool : New Blog

THE KEY TO SUCCESS

Did you ever wonder what some of those keys you never use on your keyboard are for? Wonder no more. Take a little time to study the awesome info on this link KEYBOARD.
There is probably something there to save you lots of key strokes and time. And anyway it's interesting to know that some of those keys really do do something useful (except of course most of the "F" keys).

Our Big Girl!

Paisley was extra cute today so here are a couple pictures of her. She got a new puzzle to play with today when we went to target, she loves it! The other picture is the face we get when we tell her to smile!! She is so funny and cute!

Great Wedding Present!

We have been married for almost 5 years and today for the very first time we used one of our wedding presents! We never before have opened this awesome skillet, but this morning we decided to use it! It works great and it made making pancakes super easy! We could have made 20 at once if we would have wanted too. We love this skillet and now that it has made a debut out of the box I'm sure we'll be using it a lot!

Have you Scene it???

Dad is working on scenery for the girl's show. He is an amazing guy!!! We are looking forward to seeing the final results.

I Love the Old Testament

Finally had a chance to take a picture of my room without students. Our class scriptures is Choose Ye This Day and our class song is Hope of Israel. I really hope the students can have the message in this scripture and song sink deep into their hearts.

Another Prediction Taken Care Of

Robb, Marybeth and Jeffrey were kind of out of our Prediction session that occurred while we were traveling through New England last December - but one of the predictions was "Will Jeffrey cut his hair between his mission and Christmas?" As you can tell from this picture with sweet Angela cutting Jeff's hair - he did indeed cut his hair. Here is what everyone said:
Rachel - yes, Katie - yes, Sarah - no, Jason - no, Stefanie - no, Dallin - yes, Dad - no, and Mom - yes. Thanks Jeffrey for having my prediction come true!!!

My room finally finished

So I put up the posters and found a good way to organize all of my junk. I think it will work out just dandy. University Villas is treating me well.

MY CLASS!!!

Today was the first day that everyone was at seminary so I am glad that I took my camera. They are such a cute class and we are having a really great start. I LOVE SEMINARY!!!

Seminary Begins

Good Luck Monrovia Cornwall Girls!!!

"Y" DID YOU HAVE TO LEAVE SO SOON. . .

On the road again.

MUSCLE MOVERS

Robb & Jeff "earned their keep"
We moved the piano out of the Parlor, (with the very willing help of cousin Todd Larsen.)

The piano has a nice temp home in the corner of the Dining Rm.

Robb & Jeff also moved the desk upstairs to be part of Dad's office. (It's heavier than it looks and that hairpin turn in the stairs is a killer!)

It sure was nice to have two strong boys (and one beautiful girl) in Monrovia this weekend!

Welcome Back to Wymount Terrace

Kitchen

(Master) Bedroom

Nursery

Living Room

These pictures were taken when we had gathered together half of our belongings.

This morning I worked on the kitchen and I think we found a home for ALL our kitchen supplies. This apartment is bigger but has less storage so we are doing our best and trying to be creative with the space. It is nice to have a comfortable apartment again.

ONE YEAR and ONE MONTH

Since we didn't have the top of one of our cakes in Dallas for our one year anniversary we celebrated a month late. After dinner we ran to meet the people who were taking our old apartment and we came back to this beautifully decorated table.

This picture shows how romantic it was with just candles although it is hard to see.

The cake still tasted yummy!!!
