Camel ride in Dubai

Dallin had a great time in Dubai. We greatly missed him. Here is a video we thought all the cousins would enjoy.

Fun Week

We celebrated Chinese New Year with Egg Rolls, Fried Rice, and Homemade Fortune cookies and all the fun gifts Dallin brought home from his trip to China.
We had a fun BYU Cougar pasta dinner as we watched the not so fun BYU basketball game Saturday night.  Thanks Jason and Stefanie for the Pasta.  My kids loved it.

Mr Seth is growing up every day.  His favorite thing to do is to go walking.

Our Big Boy

We just wanted to post a video of some of the fun things that Bennett has been up to over the last little bit. We still feel like he is our tiny Baby, but with a new arrival there can only be one true baby, so we are having a hard time seeing our baby grow up so fast

GREAT GRANDPA'S HOSPITAL STINT

For a number of years, Great-grandpa Cornwall has been bothered with "tired legs" which are also sometimes painfully when he walks a distance. Recently this was diagnosed as PVD (Google it if you are interested). An excellent vascular doctor found the problem with a blockage in the main artery that supplies blood to the legs. Blood medicine was tried to correct the problem for a time, without success.
Today Grandpa had a stint put in place to more than triple the blood flow to the legs. It was done with a catheter (which can be seen in the photos as a very thin white line snaking through the artery.
Thanks to his doctor for sharing the photos in the post-op report.
The procedure was done via outpatient. Grandpa will be up and about tomorrow with only a small puncture wound in his right groin.

Grandpa has been an amazingly healthy guy. As I went through pre-op and sat with him in post-op he commented this was first time he had been in a bed in a hospital.

Don'ut you know we have a fun FHE treat?

We had a great time making old fashioned raised donuts (they could even spudnuts - we put mashed potatoes in them). They were fantastic - but the fun was just as much making them as eating them.

The Intel Museum

Saturday Morning we headed to the Intel Museum. I wasn't quite sure what to expect. When we walked in and the first display case had computer chips in it I wasn't sure that this was the museum for us - but it really picked up from there.

We got measured -
Stood in front of the blue screen.
Had our faces projected on a screen.
Played some games.
But the highlight of the visit was our opportunity to get into the bunny suit. You can all enjoy us looking so great.

Fun Park

We went to the coolest park on Friday morning. It had a fire engine, a train and a plane. The kids really enjoyed themselves and I loved watching them!!

My Trip to San Jose

I had a wonderful time hanging out with Katie and her kids in her new house, in her new town. I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it is and how much it reminded me of Oregon. Right after I arrived we went and played at what will be Elizabeth's school next year and we happened to see on the marquee that they were having a Kindergarten Tour the next morning so I was able to stay with the boys while Katie and Elizabeth went and checked things out - Boy these kids are growing up.

Baby Girl Update!

First off I never posted these 28 week pictures.  It was the week of Thanksgiving...so its been a while.
Here is a picture of today....36 weeks along.  I guess it can be used as a comparison picture.
We had an ultrasound of the baby and her head down position looks good.  They did a weight estimate and said she was coming in around 5 lbs 9 oz (They say she should be gaining about 1/2 lb a week from here on out that has her coming in exactly where Bennett was at 7 lbs 9 oz.)  Although she might opt for a late arrival, or decide to come early.  The ultrasound weight estimates can be off by at least a pound on either side and since I already knew from the little bum I see moving across my belly that she was head down we didn't really learn anything new but it was still fun to see her!
Here are some of our Ultrasound pictures from today!
These first two are her profile, very similar but not exact images.
Here is her nice looking spine!
What a cutie!

P.S. Bennetts 18 month photo shoot will be coming soon, that is if we can get him to sit still long enough to take some good ones!  He is always on the go!

To Grandma From Elizabeth

Grandma which one is your favorite?

While Grandma was here, she and Elizabeth changed these girls outfits everyday. Afterwards they would choose their favorite outfit. Grandma was here for all but one day. Which is your favorite?

WE MISS YOU GRANDMA!!!!
