The Arboretum
We made a trip to the Arboretum a few days ago and had a lovely time exploring the grounds. The property was originally developed by "Lucky" Baldwin and is home to plants from around the world. Some of the highlights of our outing included numerous peacock sightings, feeding the ducks (and big catfish), peeking into the Queen Anne Cottage and running around with the kids.

A Doubley Special Day
Not only is it our 10th Anniversary, but it is our baby's BIRTHDAY!! After having lots of contractions yesterday and through the night it looked like we were going to share a special date with our baby boy. Things went really fast once we got to the hospital and our baby was born at 9:00am. He was 7 pounds, 7 ounces (same as paisley) and 19 3/4 inches long. He is sooo adorable! So without further ado, here are some pictures of our (still nameless) baby.

Forever!
6 years ago I married the man who was everything I wanted, everything I needed and everything that would make me become who I need to become. If I knew then what I know now I would have married him the first day I set eyes on him. Its amazing how a great decision becomes even greater and more amazing as years pass! Its incredible how you find that perfect match, even if they live on the other side of the country. I will be forever grateful and in the debt to you Kent and Sue! Thank you for raising such an incredible son. Each step in his life brought him closer to me! Thank you Thank you! Happy Anniversary My sweet Robbie -you are my perfection- and you are dang good lookin! (bonus)!

Simple projects
We have been dreaming of the Silhouette Cameo for a VERY long time! We have been pinning projects and discussing how we want to make things. Jason has really gotten into the awesome software aspect of the Cameo. He has already designed several of the projects on our list, we just need the vinyl and to press the "cut" button!! So this morning after opening up the box, we decided to try our first two, very simple projects! We want some practice before we dive into the more complicated things we have planned!
Number 1, personalizing the control panel of the Silhouette. Here is the plain Cameo:
Jason says the pictures don't do it justice (which it doesn't) but it's a pretty awesome pop up card, that serves no purpose other than being awesome!! Once we get some vinyl we will be in business and we can't wait to show you everything we have planned!!! We LOVE our new toy!!!!!

In action!
Ta da!! The cute control panel! We will eventually choose a cute design to stick to the top of the cameo!
Number 2. Jason has been drooling over this pop up card for weeks and was so excited to finally make it!

Our Missouri Christmas
Here is a brief run down of Christmas at our house! Everyone had a lot of fun taking their time exploring their new gifts!
I love this cute Jarom face! This is a tiger water bottle that looks like his favorite Daniel Tiger character!

This is now what we do 24/7 at our house! Constant races!
Matching with your new doll is the BEST! Thank you everyone for the fun, thoughtful gifts! It was a fun Christmas talking about family, since we couldn't be together. But even of all these fun things, nothing can contain the excitment of owning this: SILHOUETTE CAMEO!!!!!
Stay tuned for our first 2 projects!!! EEKKK!!
