Saturday, Jason, Stefanie and Paisley made a visit to Monrovia. We had such a wonderful day. After lunch we walked to beautiful downtown Monrovia. Our first stop was Planet Cookie - a new cafe bakery. We have seen the progress of this store in the old Poppy Shoppe and Broadway Baby spot. We looked at the lovely things in their display case. Sampled most of their cookies (bytheway - the largest cookie samples in the world - they were almost as large as their small cookies - and dad even had cake). We only bought four cookies which we ate on our way to Scoops. We did indulge in cones at Scoops and enjoyed the very fun atmosphere. We walked home. Dad and Jason replaced the back brake pads on the car and then we barbecued tri tip steak. It was a wonderful day. Thanks for coming Jas and Stef AND PAISLEY!!!!!
What's the scoop? It seems like such a fun place to "hang out" and have a few scoops of ice cream. Thank you for sharing your wonderful day with those of us that could not be there.
ReplyDeleteMMMMM! that ice cream was sure good. I got strawberry cheesecake and it had actual bits of cheese cake in it. It was awesome
