RACHEL 'ON STAGE' VIDEOLOG
Half way through Rachel's Recital the audience was shown a videolog of moments from the 25+ stage shows in which Rachel has performed (since she was 9 ... and before). For those of you who couldn't be there we thought you might enjoy seeing this little video journal.
[Note: The video quality has been upgraded - as of 9 am, 4/1 - from the original posted yesterday.]

Family Comes to HOME
It was sure great to have Jeffrey, Robb and Marybeth come down from BYU and Katie from Portland... with Elizabeth... to support Rachel for her big day. It was a fun, full special day and evening. Thanks fam....
Auntie Rachel & Elizabeth
Rachels' Recital was a wonderful evening. We are so proud of Rachel and her hard work and preparation which provided (in our non-humble family opinion) excellent performances in song, dance and keyboard.Since daddy Dallin missed Miss Elizabeth's stage debut (post birth) we share one of the real show stopper numbers of the evening. (This video is from the dress rehearsal on Friday night.)

Time to Grow
Today was gardening day for us. All of our friends have started their gardens and so we decided to start one also (even though Jason nor I know what we are doing.) We got some new gardening gloves, including Paisley. She enjoys to dig in the dirt along with us. Jason started clearing out the dirt where our garden will be. We are planning on growing (hopefully they are also planning to grow) radishes, peas, onions, and tomatoes. We bought tomato starters to live inside with us until the end of april. The other plants in the starter boxes are different kinds of flowers I planted. I thought we would try and start them inside also. When they are ready to be transplanted we will spread them throughout the front and backyard. This will be a fun adventure and if it works we will be having some yummy salsa in a few weeks!

Industrial Design Creativity Activity
Hello Friends and Family. As most of you know I am applying for Industrial Design this Tuesday. As part of the application I am required to submit a provided creativity activity. A blank copy is shown below. Below that is six different trials by myself. I am trying to decide which are the best. I am not sure exactly what they are looking for, but the thing that I started focusing on after a trial run was to best use the shape or lines given as is and not morph them into something I wanted, but use them for what they were. Hope that made sense. Another thing to note is that some of these are just ideas and will be done more professionally some with color even. Also the pictures go every which direction so you might have to tip your head to the side just to see what it is. Feel free to ask questions about certain ones. Anyways, all opinions would be much appreciated. Even Paisley and Elizabeth!! The blank version has letters in each box. Find which you like best for each letter on papers 1 - 6 (which are in no particular order). For example :
a -3
b -6
Etc.
Have fun!
P.S. no biases like B-3 Kansas folks.

Silver Falls
Silver Falls is the largest state park in Oregon. There are ten waterfalls with an eight mile hike to see each of them. The Tanners took Elizabeth and me on Monday March 24. It was a fun full day. We saw about half of the falls which is pretty good with two babies.
South Falls 177 feet. We went around and underneath it and got soaking wet
Upper North Falls 65 feet.
North Falls 136 feet. We are standing in the cave under the fall.
Ethan and Elizabeth.

It was a fun long day especially for Ethan and Elizabeth.
IF ANYONE WANTS TO COME SEE IT IN PERSON WE WILL GLADLY TAKE YOU!!!!

Our little tike's first trike
About two days a week it is spring here in Kansas. The other five days are way too cold to go outside. We have been stuck in our how for way too many months so we are taking advantage of the few warm days we get. Paisley is the proud new own of a big wheels!! She can't quite reach the pedals when they are away from her so much mostly scoots with her feet. This nice tricycle is also adjustable and will grow with her and she gets taller, so that is really nice. In addition to Paisley getting her first bike, Jason got his first kite. That is what he is doing in the first picture. The wind here is a little bit too strong for kites most of the time, but we still get to have a lot of fun with ours. Life is getting a lot more fun with more outside time!!

The Moment You've All Been Waiting For!
It was a very fun morning.
Wichita Weekend #1
This weekend we had a very fun activity. We used the first of three very fun activities we received as a very generous Christmas present. We went and saw Alice in Wonderland at a Children's theater in Wichita. Included with the show was a lunch buffet that was delicious and very fun. Paisley had such a good time watching the show about a princess (any cute girl is a princess to Paisley.) We loved it so much we can't wait until July to go see Raggedy Ann and Andy!!

First Easter in Kansas
Easter in Kansas has certainly been fun this year. We aren't quite in spring yet but the sun is shining. Paisley looked beautiful in her new Easter dress and shoes and really got the hang of posing for the camera. We had a wonderful celebration this first Kansas Easter.

Work Easter Party
We have celebrated Easter early because Jason's work party was last Sunday. It was a ton of fun. The Easter bunny came and hid candy for all the kids. There were special cookies for each kid and yummy punch. Then after the candy hunt the Easter bunny passed out coloring books for everyone. It was a lot of fun and Paisley was a pro at candy hunting.
Playing in the SINK!!!
Elizabeth found her new favorite place in our apartment. She started on the counter but ended up in the sink. She loved looking at herself in the different mirrors. She could have staying in there for hours.
