PINES & APARTMENTS

We had fun trip to Utah last week (except for missing the Jason Cornwalls in Kansas). We connected with Robb/MB & Jeff Driving from Boston, Katie/Elizabeth flying from Dallas, Rachel/Sarah & bonus cousin Jaycee flying in from So.Cal. and Dallin driving from Dallas and of course Grandpa was already at the cabin.

Dad is putting a "Week at the Pines" video together. It is taking a while. I think I will slip in a few pictures while we are waiting so that you know what a great time we had and how much we love our family!!

A peak into my social life

Tuesday night I made some friends with some girls across from my apartment. We continued to build that friendship last night with several activities. One of which I documented and all the thanks goes to first Mom and then I think Lissy or Kevin.

Graham, Mallow. and Chocolate as well as the canned cooking fuel.

It was a super fun time!!

First Day of School

With summer assignments in hand Rachel and Sarah headed out for their first day of school. As I was making lunches I could hardly believe that our incredible summer was over. Rachel's last first day of public school - hard to imagine!!! GO WILDCATS!! (P.S. - it is only going to be 103 today)

You would think this critter was our "dear" friend as often as he visits. This pic was taken (c/o Rachel) after Church when we just happened to look out the kitchen window. He stayed, sitting on the trail for a long visit.

Some Moments from the Whelchel Reunion

Here are a few highlights from our family reunion that were captured on our camera. Here are 4 of the little girls playing together at Marti's house.

We spent one of the days in Breckenridge and one of the activities was panning for gems, it was a lot of fun, but we gave our treasures to Taryn.

Jason went on the bungy swing in Breckenridge. He managed to pull off 2 flips in one bounce. He said it was really hard to do and he got quite the workout from it.

Later in the week we spent a day at Glenwood Caverns. This is Jason, Paisley and me in the cave.

They had a photographer take your picture in the cave and we liked out so we took a picture of the picture. They were $15 so we weren't going to buy it.

Also at Glenwood Caverns they had an alpine slide roller coaster, it was on a track. We went on it 3 times. It was a lot of fun!

Paisley, Nathan and Jolie had a fun time sharing crackers and watching everyone else skate!

We had a great time ice skating together, it was a lot of fun. The temperature was really nice for ice skating also, but we got cocoa afterwards just for the fun of it.

CORNWALL KIDS ON THE ROAD

This weekend finds some Cornwall's traveling.

Robb, Marybeth & Jeff got as far as Des Moines.

Katie & Dallin are visiting cousins in Houston.

Jason & Stef are traveling back to McPherson, KS from a family reunion in Vail.

The Journey has Begun!!!

We have gotten a few reports (and this Pix Flix) from the cross-country travelers. They made it to Clearfield Pennsylvania last night. What a fun threesome to travel together.

Friday afternoon we got an audio e-mail and a picture attachment. Dad combined the audio and the pic for a little fun/funny video. Boy...they have only been on the road for a day and half and do they sound silly/like they are having a good time....
