Our new Floors!!!!

Beach with the Larsens

Rachel Sarah and I went to the beach with Todd and Angela and Fam as well as Mike and Brittney. It was a good time.

Although we put on sunscreen all three of us are a bit red!

We ate roasted hot dogs for lunch. Mmmm!

Although it wasn't the weekend, there were tons of people! The water was no where near as warm as the Gulf or Atlantic, but it was refreshing. Todd, Mike and I were doing some sweet body surfing. I even got into a few barrels of the wave. Brittney Larsen had her first encounter with sand crabs. She loved it.

I didn't surf since we were on the south side of the pier. I'll have to go once before I leave California. Overall it was a excellent time.

FAMILY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES

Last night (the fun just kept on) we all went to the movies.
Todd and Michael Larson came too.

Hey, we recognized a cute actress in the one of the displays in the theater lobby in an upcoming movie.

Monrovia Canyon Falls

Here we are at the beginning of the trail head.
We took advantage of Todd Larsen taking the day off work and spent the entire day together!!! We started the morning off by walking to the Falls. What a grand and glorious place. Rachel and I talked several times about needing to go there more.
Our troop were great hikers.
Where is Jeff in this picture?? No he is not taking the picture - that was taken by our resident photographer - Angela!! Jeffrey is bouncing up the creek-bed - no trail for him.
We made it to the waterfall.
Several people got wet.
Jeff proved that this statement is true. If you want more details call him - we don't want to incriminate him on the world wide web.
It was a great morning!!!

Jeff's Missionary Report

Jeff spoke in church on Sunday. It was a masterful discourse on gospel principles and a powerful testimony. We had lots of family and friends attend services and were joined by many for a lunch after the 3-hour block. We were lucky enough to have two Larsen cousins (Mike and Brittany were here from Arizona).
Janice and her cousin Melanie were able to come.
Sister Grahammy!!!
We had lots of Cornwall family - I guess since we took so many pictures of them the day Jeffrey got home - I didn't take any Sunday - but we sure appreciate all the support from those we love so much.

More Art

We had our towels picked out for the guest bathroom ever since we lived in the hotel, so I kind of new what kind of art design I wanted to do for the bathroom. The pattern in the art matches the pattern on the towels. These ones were a lot harder and more time consuming to do than my last pictures.

A Very Productive Day

Before Inside

Before Outside

During

After Inside

After Outside
Today was the day we had our french doors put in. Our old sliding glass door, besides being not very attractive, was broken and needed to be replaced. We chose to replace it with french doors instead of another sliding door. We love the new doors. The only problem is that they have left us with some work to do. We need to touch up paint some of the kitchen wall around the doors, paint the new molding and paint the baseboards to match, and find a person who knows how to do siding to wrap the door frame to match the rest of the house. When all is said and done we probably wouldn't have made the choice to replace the door because of how expensive it is turning out to be, but since we did it we will enjoy our doors and the fun blinds inside the windows!

Then later tonight we started painting the guest bathroom. Leslee, Brad and Taryn are showing up at our house next Monday for the family reunion pre-pre-party and so it needs to be painted and decorated and ready for their stay! It is starting to look very pretty. They will be very lucky to be the first ones to use the guest room and bathroom.
JEFFREY'S return to home and family was enjoyed in 3 stages.
Jeffrey joined with Mom, Dad, Rachel and Sarah for 5 days of touring the Mission.

Jeffrey joined everyone for a week of togetherness.

Jeffrey was welcomed home at Grandpas and by Cornwall cousins.

Before and After: Dining Room

This is our new, beautiful dining room table. It is very big in our dining room but we love it! We are hesitant to let Paisley sit at it since she always makes such a big mess, we just need to get a table cloth so she can join us at the table. When Jason got home from work and saw the table he said "this is real furniture, this is getting serious." Meaning our college furniture wasn't "real". If we ever move out of Kansas we are going to need a very big truck and a lot of helpers with all this furniture we now have.

Accomplishment!

Yesterday we finally unpack our last box and claimed our living room as livable space! Now things are looking kinda empty, so we'll start thinking about getting another couch. Later today our new dining room table is going to be delivered so we'll be sure to post that!

Happy Birthday Jeffrey!!! Big 21

I bet he looks pretty similar to this today.

Beginning and End

Compare and Contrast!!!
Jeff looks more rested - he looks taller - unless he is on his Tippie Toes. Sister Ertel has basically the same hair do - but President looks like he got a new one.
CORNWALL COMINGS & GOINGS LOGO

Getting Excited to See that Boy!!

Jeffrey just sent me these pictures a few minutes ago. If that doesn't get you excited to see him I don't know what would. This is his district in Panama City where he is the District Leader
Still a high flying guy - and that guy looks tall!! What shoes is that boy wearing??
Looks like one of those after-planning lunches that were such a great morale booster.
Last meeting with President and Sister Ertel.

Some fun things this week

Cool Slideshows!

You can speed up or slow down the slideshow by clicking plus or minus, I had to get a hair cut too to fit in with all these beautiful people. And I mowed the Openshaws Lawn (I hope I did okay and you like it) And Marybeth and I got some fun stuff in the mail for Disney

Thanks to Grandpa Cornwall!!!

Marybeth went out this week and bought a Grapefruit so that we could finally use the Grapefruit spoons that he gave us for our Wedding, Let me tell you that it was the best Grapefruit I ever tasted and Boy was it easy to get every slice out of there. Thanks again Grandpa
