Sarah's Roller Coatser

I had another project. I had to have 6 loops and have a marble go through the loops successfully and have the marble knock over a cup. It worked great and it was fun. I love you guys so much. Love, Sarah-lehnny.

  1. Not only was it "fun" but the team got 100 points out of a hundred AND the marble went through the rollercoaster course on the FIRST try. Sarah worked particularly hard and stayed at it, even with Dad discouragingly and regularly saying, "It's impossible, you cann't get a marble to roll through 6 loops with a three foot max. height restriction. There's just not enough gravity." But she did it (with a little help and advise). Congratulations scientist Sarah Lehny!!!!

  3. So proud of you Sarah. You are not only a good scientist, you are a good collaborator, a good hostess and appreciative daughter of your wonderful dad that helps with school projects.

  4. Sarah, that is amazing that you were able to do all those loops perfectly; I remember when I did the same thing when I was in 8th grade, but me and my friends could only do three loops and it is only worked half of the time. So, GREAT JOB !!

  7. Sorry - I posted twice - I was a little distracted with a phone call and wasn't sure if I had hit the publish button.

  8. Let me just tell everyone just how mcuh Sarah contributed to this project. We had them over, we fed them profusely, we paid for the materials, Sarah and Dad practically built the whole thing, then she had to make the drawings and put together the written portion. My favorite part is that another girl wanted to keep it! Silly!!
