Tonight was Bishop's Fireside. This continues to be one of our favorite activities because of the great youth in our ward. As you can see they are happy, handsome and so full of goodness. Dad gave a lesson on Chiasmus - a literary technique of presenting a set of words or ideas in a certain order and then retracing them in the opposite order. He learned about this on his mission and decided to share it with the youth. We feel so blessed to have these youth in our home and in our lives.
Way to celebrate the youth!! I keep thinking I was working with the youth just last year or something, but it's been awhile - and I still miss them!!
ReplyDeleteWe spent the evening having a tearful farewell with the sisters!
I just can't believe how old everyone is... I've only been gone three years, but I used to babysit the Gutierrez kids. Holy cow.
ReplyDeleteHey Cornwalls, I think you have found your biggest fan in the form of Barbara T. She told me to check out y'all's blog, so I did.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe how grown-up Sarah is; I am completely jealous of Rachel's amazing style; Katie as always is elegance personified; Jason's little family is adorable; and Sue, you're everybody's role model. (Bishop, Robbie, you guys look great too.)
Anyway. Back to work I guess. Have a lovely day.
