As fun as tennis looks on Martin Luther King Holiday - as wonderful as being in Alabama may seem - we think the best place to be on this holiday was in Palmdale with Paisley!!! Our day started pretty early with piano practicing and getting ready for seminary and school on Tuesday - then it was off on our adventure. Because Rachel has Musical practice on Wednesday - we headed out to Fontana to our piano lesson today to take advantage of adjusting to Julie's schedule. After the girl's lessons, we drove north on the 15 freeway and went the back way to Palmdale. The girls and I arrived about 4:30 and tried to get our fill of Paisley before Grandpa Cornwall - the baby hog - arrived. Dad Cornwall arranged to meet Jason at L-3 Communications and the two of them drove up to Palmdale together. We had a lovely dinner at "The Olive Garden"!!! Then it was back to the house to watch Jason and Stefanie open a few belated Christmas presents (mostly Jeffrey's), play a little Apple to Apple and eat Monster Cookies. We love our little Paisley and she is so sweet and looked so cute in her cream corduroy outfit with bright pink rick rack and smocking. We couldn't think of a better way to spend the day!!!

Man, That must be the cutest baby in the whole world!!
ReplyDeleteWell.... I sure feel like I missed out on some fun, I am talking about holding Paisley. She is very cute and seems to be more so with everyday
ReplyDeleteDang that baby is cute. Where did she get it? Okay, I know that we're a dang-spanking good looking family, but nonetheless, she certainly got the best genes of the family. What an immense blessing and enthusiastically welcomed she is to our eternal company.
ReplyDeleteFamilia,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your fun day with those of us in Utah. It sure is hard to be away from that cute baby. Don't worry I have a picture of her on my desktop so I think of her all the time. I love being an Aunt!!!
