We walked every single blasted step to get the very best view from Notre Dame. But it was worth it (and frankly coming down - around and around the spiral staircase - was exceedingly worse.)
Notre Dame is known for her gargoyles . . .
and for the chance to see all of Paris, even on a cloudy day.
I had seen a bird's eye view of Paris from the top of the eiffel tower at night, but during the day, I was smitten. Lovely!
