Our fun Halloween Party!

So I had to start with this awesome picture. Robbie was very serious and efficient in his apple bobbing!

This year we were at my parents house for Halloween and instead of just sitting around and hanging out Robbie, my sisters and I planned an amazing Halloween party.
This is the pumpkin water game. We filled little mini pumpkins with water and had to put them on our heads and see which team could make their bucket the most full.Heres my Dad, a little bit wet but enjoying the races!

The team members had to wait against the wall for their partners hasty arrival.
Now see you had to have the pumpkin steady and "handless" by the time you reached a line on the floor. Most people obeyed this rule. (These two hadn't yet reached the line)
Dad and Catie bobbing for apples.
Dad cleaning up!
The famous donut eating contest. Robbie clearly put my Dad and I to shame. He later mentioned that it was the best donut he had ever had in his life (that may have had something to do with the win) and ate the rest of mine.
I took my sweet time. I had eaten enough sugar for the evening.
Catie was all about business.
I love Harley's face here! Thats kindof how I felt at times during this game. The three girls.

More bobbing for apples, I got mine by the stem....but found out very quickly, I HATE BOBBING FOR APPLES.

Nice work Charlotte. Sacrificing her doll makeup. What a trooper!
Catie dressed up as a High School Graduate! Costumes were required. Although we let my parents off the hook as they had been out all day on business.

Pin the nose on the Jack-o-lantern anyone? Clearly you can see from this who was being honest and who was not.

Harley got the best of both worlds and got to enjoy the party and go trick or treating. So...we taxed her. Here we are scoping things out. I really wanted one of the fun dips....not so much. So I settled for a Twix...or two...

Robbie participating in pin the nose on the Jackolantern.

Ok just for the record, I didn't cheat. But my spinners lead me exactly towards the middle of the pumpkin.

An adorable doll and little red riding hood.

Harley the dog participated with part of his batman costume! We also enjoyed a drawing game, which my Dad and I won, and charades (by Kari) and a live Clue game made by Catie! It was a very very fun night! And you better believe we will be having a halloween party next year.

  1. I almost feel like I was there and heard all the giggles and tasted all the fun and games of that Halloween party. Altho' from the look of some of those pictures maybe it's kinda fun just to enjoy those activities virtually? It's fun to have all those photos of the fun Zellers.
