Thanksgiving at 336

There have only been a few Thanksgivings at 336. Can anyone recall them? There was the one with Brother Bevell. I'm not sure why there wasn't one in La Canada that year. The second one was when Grandpa Hodgkinson was so sick and he wanted a little sunshine. This year the Shirl Cornwalls and the Kent Cornwalls were spread all over and so we hosted the dinner. We had a wonderful day with Grandpa, the Federoffs, the Monteros and the missionaries. Dad did turkey research (thanks Martha - for the cheesecloth method - we are going to use it every year) and we had the best looking and best tasting turkey imaginable (as evidenced by these pictures).
Jeffrey made our pies - apple and pumpkin - they were wonderful.
We had a lovely day of wonderful food and fantastic company intermixed with lots of games, visiting and laughter.
The "Children's Table" had way too much fun!!
We are so thankful for our bounteous blessings!!

  1. Well, I will say that it looks like you may have had a pretty good day getting on without me.

Gorgeous people and gorgeous turkey-both tied for first.
