Here are the best of the shots from this first photo assignment. I have some of my new favorite shots in this batch. The criteria for this assignment was to produce four types of pictures. First: Capture motion by freezing it. Second: Capture motion through blur. Third: Capture shallow depth of field (Out of focus in front of and behind subject). Fourth: Capture long depth of field (Everything is in focus). Enjoy! Please name two of your favorites and why.

Great shooting Jeffers. I like the first one, the clock one and the last one. I also like the 2nd photo a lot too. I think the motion on the clock hand looks great. Good eye Jeffrey.
ReplyDeletewoah. that clock shot and the jumping are stunning!

clock (goodness, what was your shutter speed on, i'm guessing around 5 seconds)
river,
parallel to the ground action shot.
i love when you post photos.
My favorites - got to be the clock and pictures of my wild and crazy boy!!! LOVE THOSE. You are amazing an amazing artist.
ReplyDeleteThe secret to the clock shot is that the clocks were catching up for daylight savings and so they were moving at 3 seconds a minute (instead of 60). So my shutter was only open for a second and a half.
