2.5

Elizabeth is 2 1/2 today. She has grown up so much in the past 6 months. She truly is such a joy to be with all day. She loves life and is always smiling and laughing. Here are some fun things she is currently doing.

Elizabeth is very particular. She likes to stack her cards by herself one by one and they all have to be facing the same way. She is the same with her books. Each book has to be right side up and in a neat pile. If they fall over, which they usually do, she has to put them back in the stack. She is always asking for a snack. She is working on toilet training. She is such a good helper to Daniel, and when he is fussy, she sings him the chorus of "I am a Child of God." As soon as we walk in the front door, she sits down and takes off her shoes and socks. She always asks who is on the phone and always wants to know everyone's name. She loves to read the Bible story of Noah and Daniel. She has figured out that she can move the chair to reach things that are too high, so now no shelf or cupboard is safe. She loves taking a bath and bathing Daniel. She can count to 20 with only minor help. She loves to do mom's and baby Daniel's hair.

  1. How fun to hear about the details of a growing up 2 1/2 year old. It sounds like every day if full of excitement and joys (and perhaps the occasional crisis or two.) The two little Andersons are as cute as can be. OBTW - baby Daniel looks very dapper with his nicely combed hair.

  2. I so appreciate seeing grandchildren that are far away - but my mom is the one that chats on and on about the posts when I call her on Saturday. Thanks Katie. Very very cute.
