Caitlin's B-day

These are out of order, but we ended the night with "little ball bowling" you get three balls for every turn and the pins are never "clean" or reset until the end. It is pretty fun, but can be frustrating when you are used to getting a lot down. I had like 4 for most of the frames.
Before bowling we went to Friendlys to get some Ice cream and Uncle Peter came with us it was pretty fun.
Here I am giving my best shot at bowling, I threw all strategy out the window near the end.
Marybeth did awesome on the second game she beat everyone.
We took Caitlin to the Movies to go see Marley and Me. We blindfolded her and walked her all the way into the theater. It was really funny to watch.

This was the best. Marybeth and I love to tease so in order to see what we did to Caitlin you will just have to see the video.

Like I said before Marybeth did awesome the second game and this video proves it. With little ball bowling you get 3 balls. So if you knock them all down with 2 balls it is a spare and the third one just adds to your score. It is not easy to get a spare.

I never did very good but I had fun and that was all that mattered to me.

  1. That looks like a fun day for Caitin. I've never seen small ball bowling. I'm surprised you weren't quite good at it Robb... you're usually quite good at everything sporting. On that count it's not a surprise Marybeth was expert.. she's usually good at everything sporting too.

  2. That is why it was so frustrating. Everyone was averaging about 7 pins per frame and I was averaging about 4. I would throw it really hard and it would knock that ONE PIN silly and that continued to happen. I started to throw it softer and it was then when I started getting better but it wasn't enough to catch Mabe.
