Saturday morning was breakfast with Santa. Nursery kids were able to go if an adult attended so Dallin and I both went. We had pancakes and sausage. I helped with a cakewalk game. Elizabeth was first to sit on Santa's lap and as you can see she is not a fan of Santa. She was pretty scared.

A Christmas Weekend
This weekend was full of Holiday fun. Friday night Dallin and I went to an adult Christmas party put on by a ward friend. We ate a lot of yummy food and played several games. The hit of the evening was the white elephant exchange. We walked away with the rocker horse Elizabeth is sitting on and a brick with a $5 bill taped to it. We were happy with our outcomes.

Saturday night was our adult ward Christmas party. It was a formal dinner made by the gourmet chief in our ward. It was divine. Then we had a program where I sang a few songs. It was a lovely evening.

That is quite the contrast in extreme emotions with Miss Elizabeth. That's what makes kids so exciting to be around.
ReplyDeleteGood work nabbing the rocky horse. What a Christmas that girl is having and it's still over a fortnight until the 25th.
So was the horse hard to pass around? and was it pretty obvious what it was? That seems like a steal. I like the 5 dollar bill on the brick too sounds like a fun time
ReplyDeleteSounds like you guys were the winners!!! Nothing like big gifts and cash.
ReplyDeleteP.S. - love the little Christmas shirt.
