Today Elizabeth and I went to the Tulip Festival in Woodburn Oregon. We went with the Tanners and had a great day although it was rainy and cold. Here are some pictures but they don't do it justice. (I know there are a lot but we took 42 pictures and it was hard to narrow it down.) There were fields and fields of the brightest colored tulips. We walked up and down and smelled the beautiful flowers.
PS They have a contest for the best picture. I was thinking of entering until I saw last years winner. I do want to add that if some members of this family were to come and take pictures I think they would have a great chance of winning.
And I thought that beautiful fields of tulips to the horizon were only to be found in Holland. I'm glad that the price of some cold and rain buys grand vistas of beauty.

ReplyDeleteOh and by the way the prize for the best pic is a digital SLR. Now who couldn't use one of those.
