A day after our last post we had about 10 more sprouts and I am amazed at how much they have grown in a week. They are taking over all our window space. On Saturday we planted them in the pots. We purchased the planters at the dollar store and got some dirt at Home Depot. We had to buy more pots last night because we didn't have enough. We water them every morning and evening and will move them outside when it gets a little warmer (we have been having a lot of rain.) The green beans have been my favorite so far because they are so tall and because of the neat way they pop out of the dirt. Their little neck pops out first and before you know it the head pops out and is an inch above the dirt. We have three additional pots on Elizabeth's window seal full of tomato plants.

Looks like a combination of a little green thumb and Oregon climate (all-be-it indoors) is bearing fruit - so to speak. That's pretty neat.
ReplyDeleteinch by inch row by row, gonna make that garden grow! It looks great! What a fun thing to have!
ReplyDeleteWow your plants look great! We bought mostly starters s in hopes of getting the fruit and veggies sooner than with seeds. With the onions and radishes we only have seeds and we are just going to start them in the ground. I think our weather here is about ready to put ours in the ground!
