LITTLE SHOP OF RACHEL & SARAH
Rachel and Sarah are exceptional in MHS's latest musical production - LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS which played last weekend and will also be this Thurs. - Sat.
Sarah is the voice of the plant .... so in a way she is the title role.... at least the character that is portrayed on all the show posters. She is amazing.
Rachel is 1 of 4 skid row street urchins that are do-wop girls that narrate in song or join in as backup singers in almost every scene of the show. Rachel is can't-keep-your-eyes-off-her good as always.
The video... as is often the case... does not do justice to the girls or the production, but it will provide a taste of this silly, funny, rockin, a little bit horrible show.

ELizabeth and I just watched the whole thing and we loved it especially Elizabeth. Rachel, I love the hair. How much hairspray did you have to use? I didn't realize you had such a big solo song. I didn't remember urchin solos. I love how you rock out!!!!! (Elizabeth liked it too.)
ReplyDeleteSarah you, plant, were Elizabeth's favorite to watch. You sounded amazing on your song. I am amazed at your range. I could never sing those low notes.
I was surprised when you walked out without your crutches. I forget you can walk on your foot now.
GREAT JOB AUNT RACHEL AND AUNT SARAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rachel really is cute and is kindof the lead urchin.
ReplyDeleteSorry we couldn't include Sarah's very big, rocking solo "FEED ME" with Seymour (Alex). The video is from a dress rehearsal and Sarah's mike was not working. It is one of the greatest songs of the show.
I'm glad Elizabeth liked it. I would love to watch her watch something like this sometime.
Whoa baba! Once again the Cornwalls are the stars of the MHS stage. Good job my two sisters. You rock!
ReplyDeleteI really wished that we could've come and watched it in person. But I am glad that we had the opportunity to watch it and not be bored with all those untalented ones that try and grace the stage. I guess I am just bias. You both did a great job and I am proud to call you family
