For the causal visitor to the Cornwall's we have dedicated a space for an exhibition of the latest PEZ acquisitions downstairs. (Some folks do not show an interest, or may be oblivious to the 2nd floor museum so this mini spectacle is "forced" upon them in an easy to observe spot in the kitchen.) We expect this to be a permanant locale with updated pieces as they are acquired. From top are displayed:
Chicken Little*
Giant Big Bird** - Disney Princesses***
Cars****
Black n' White Barky Brown from Australia*****
Easter Vintage Rooster***** (with no feet - that means it's old)
Walmart Rigs****** (limited edition)
Over the Hedge****
Acquired by :
* Mom - trip to Utah
** Dad - (on sale) Toys R Us, Monrovia
*** Mom - Walmart Duarte
**** Katie - mid-west on Y.A. tour
***** Dad - ebay
****** Robb - Orem Walmart
Wow Dad, That is a pretty peztastic post and a very fun idea. Do you have a list of which Pez you have and which ones you don't? If you do can I get it. I sure am grateful to be part of this speztacular family!

ReplyDeleteSorry about the deleted post. I accidently posted my first post twice.
ReplyDeleteMaybe during a REALLY slow blog era (which is alwmost impossible to imagine in this family) I will post the whole list. That way it will be available to all interested parties. It would be pretty long, so I will have to figure out an efficient way to do it (if Mom let's me do it all - HAA!). Robb and I have the only printed list, which is uptodate except for some of the PEZ shown in this post.
ReplyDeleteI did notice that I had two of the acquisitions!!! Dad won't tell me about the ones we should be looking for - I think he is saving that joy all for himself. Great display - but I loved the name of the museum and post the most!!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me sit back and smile to think of such a fun tradition that we have started, in a way, though many may not agree, I think it has brought us together, let me explain. It is something that "we" have worked on together and something we can try and relate to. I am glad that it has been a fun Family activity. I was glad to have made the cut.
ReplyDeleteYeah Robb, it does look like a nice group effort. And as you can see we give yawl credit for great PEZ finds
ReplyDeleteI guess I will have to repent of my pezimistic attitude about PEZ collecting - if it brings the family together - I'm all for it.
ReplyDeleteHey Mom - "pezimistic" - that is one of the most peztacular PEZ lingo I've ever heard. Not only are we a closer family collecting but talking and commenting about the latest, greatest pezantries.
ReplyDeleteThanks for noticing and commenting (not without coaxing I might add) my Pez Pun. You seem to have outdone me though with your commment!!
ReplyDeleteNot at all!!!
