When the girls arrived home from school today there was someone following them up the front steps (actually two someones) Fred and Connie Allsop. They are down in Southern California for Connie's niece's wedding. They decided to make a trip to Monrovia and I was so excited that they stopped by the house. They had already been by their old house and thought Monrovia hadn't changed too much - maybe spruced up just a little bit. We got caught up on each other's families - although I think I did most of the talking. Jentry is going to school in Salt Lake and drives down every day with Fred, Megan and her husband Dave are living with Fred and Connie while their house is being built, and Carly and Dave are also home owners. How did all you little kids get so big. I thanked Connie again for teaching me how to french braid hair - she has no idea how many times I still braid hair. We love the Allsops.
Oh, the good ol' Alsops. Nice to have nice friends to stay in touch with over the years.
