Friday night we had the Hoopes and Millers over for dinner. The Millers are officially moving to Utah on Monday and with changes happening on the ward level we wanted to get together. Oh how we love the Millers and Hoopes. Jason and Perry have been such great counselors to dad - definite Wagon Train companions and Marcie and Becky are such great supports and such amazing women. This bishopric really worked hard to help the Monrovia Ward feel like a united unit. I think that has largely been achieved. How wonderful to build the kingdom together.
What a great looking bunch. It is sad to see this Bishopbric break up but it was going to happen sooner or later. Thanks for the post mom!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat great friends the Millers and Hoopes have become. A Bishop could not ask for finer counselors and finer men to with whom to spend so much time. It has been a special 2 1/2 years.
