Friday Night Lights

Dad, Rachel, Sarah and I went to the Monrovia High School Football game. The above picture is of the lit "M" - you can see it if you click on it to make it bigger. There is an unofficial "Mormon" section and it is fun to sit with them. We have four LDS cheerleaders and they are as much fun to watch as anything. You can see Randy Bell up on the tower, along with Mr. Garrison on the field. Good old names from the past. I forgot to tell Robb that I saw Daryl Fisher at last week's game - he was still as short as ever and had a child with him about half his size (I didn't ask if it was his). Rachel participated with the other ASB students to hold the banner for the CIF Champion Baseball team. That was fun. I can't believe I am including a picture of me with my eyes closed and with an apparent double chin (I will have to practice the "take your own shot" picture). It was a fun night although we lost in the very last second.

  1. Mom, what a fun post. Thanks for doing such a good job at keeping us all updated. It sounds like a very fun evening. Katie and both wish that we could hear you and Dad speak in church today. We have often thought about what a positive influence you have had with those you associate. We hope we can be like you in that area. (We are the benefactors not just from your example but also from those who love you and were so generous to us at our wedding.) Thank You
