There are a lot of people who love the Bishop. Monday morning there was this big banner on the front porch. It was from Sister Miramontes' class. The kids some some really nice things about Bishop Cornwall.

I have been stealthfully putting together dad's Bishop's books. (I gave them to him on Saturday night) He and I have thrown items into a box the past 7 1/2 years of significance from being the Bishop. I put them into some notebooks, along with scrapbooking some pictures over the years. It did make me appreciate how hard dad has worked and the things he has done and the people he has touch. It was a nice reminder of how much we love the Monrovia Ward.

Thanks Susie Q! I do feel very honored and loved. There is nothing like being a Bishop as far as being involved intimately with people and their lives. And thanks Sue, for the 3 volume "journals" of the Bishop journey. It makes me feel very loved to have someone go to that much trouble for me and some little thing(s) I did.
ReplyDeleteLittle things!?!?!?! You did more than you will probably ever know. I know from what I experienced that you did a great job, I am not saying that for the obvious reason. You did things and started things that some Bishops will never do, or will do b/c of what you started. It was not easy I'm sure but, You did the best you could have done, and thats enough
ReplyDeleteThanks Robb.
ReplyDeleteMom, I can't wait to make a visit home so I can look at every page. You and Dad are such a great team. love ya!!
