Saturday night Dallin and I had a little reunion with his old roommates. They are great guys. We went to Chad's cabin which is up by Sundance. It is nice but it makes me love our cabin even more. We had halibut for dinner. It was caught by Dallin's cousin Dave in Alaska last week.
Pictured from left to right are
Daniel Stratford (Dallin's cousin who was at the wedding and in my freshman ward)
Dallin (the most handsome boy I have ever met)
Chad (he got married the week after us so his wife was there, which was fun for me)
Mark (He came to our house and to the sealing. He is in my old ward and went on two dates with Katie Rogerson without knowing she was my roommate!!!)
Dave came later (He worked till 6:00. He works at a jewlery shop and just got called back for the beast at Centre Street Musical Theater where I did Pirates)
It was a fun evening for all!!!! I am so proud of Dallin for keeping in contact with his old roommates but I must add that he has said that I have been the best roommate he has ever had. I will agree that he is the best roommate I have ever had.

You've met me!!!! Looked like a manly mans party, thank you for sharing that with us
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun, handsome quartet. Oh, Katie, good picking to get the best of the bunch - the best in every which way possible.
ReplyDeletep.s. I'm not so sure that the setting is rightfully referred to as a cabin - at least not according to Cornwall standards. I doubt anybody's dad took a bath on the front porch in a galvanized tub (when he was a little boy).
Great post Katie - keep them coming - but the title of this post should have been MARK AND KATIE!!! What is happening with those two. I love both of them, we had even talked about them getting together. You did happen to get the cutest guy in that apartment (and most of Provo, excluding Robb). That looked like a really fun night.
ReplyDeleteThanks mom for being nice, and dad corn I love you little comments like "I doubt anybody's dad took a bath on the front porch in a galvanized tub (when he was a little boy" I am really doubtful myself. What a great cabin it is
