Sunday Afternoon With Grandpa

Our home was graced with Grandpa for a luscious roast beef and potatoes dinner, with hot rolls and homemade jam. Then fresh baked cookies (see previous silly post) and ice cream for dessert. Our family is blessed with a wonderful patriarch.

One of the things we talked about (after the upcoming trip to Arizona) is the Tab. Choir broadcast on April 30th. It will be the 4000th broadcast. The choir has offered a "Cornwall" pew up front. I understand they will honor families of those previously associated with the Choir. Great-grandpa Cornwall did the first 23 years of broadcasts (the first 1000+). Mom and I told him we would like a couple of the Cornwall seats. We will be up for Jason's graduation excercises the couple of days before. That certainly timed out nicely, eh?

  1. Mom, sounded like a great dinner. I am excited for the boadcast. You can count me in as long as it isn't April 30 because I will be on tour. Speaking of dinner, I am doing dinner group tomorrow. I am going to do baked potatos so I don't have to go to the store. What are good toppings? I have sour cream, chesse, butter. Any suggestions will be appreicated. LOVE and MISS all of you!
