One of the very fun things that we did on our trip to Utah was to watch the Music Dance Theater Showcase performance in the Madsen Recital Hall in the Harris Fine Arts Center. The theme of the evening was Fallin'in Love and all the numbers coordinated with the theme. Katie was in three numbers - the opening number - C'mon Everybody (pictures below), a love medley that she put together with two other girls and the closing number Fallin in Love with You. Katie has told us about these shows for years and we were excited to get to see one and get to see Katie in one - she was fantastic!!! We don't get to hear her sing enough. It was a great night of entertainment. Dad caught the trio on tape if anyone would like to see it. We are feeling sad about not being in the DeJong Concert Hall the next few nights and afternoon to see her in "The Circle of Life". We will just have to be patient until we see her on FEBRUARY 27!!!!!
THANKS MOM, It is fun to see these pictures. Thank you again for coming all the way to Utah and for providing a fun little vaction to the cabin. Love YA!!!

ReplyDeleteOh you MDT-ers inspire me. Especially that hottie hanging on Kevin Jordan's (Jordan Kevin??-I hate when people have first names for last names)leg. Katie you truly were inspirational in your performance. Don't just shrug it off, you are certainly a cut above the rest. (Believe me, I am even below the rest.)
