What would we have done without Robbie? We drove to Mesquite on Thursday night - in record time I might add with lots of Thursday night traffic leaving Los Angeles. We got up early and left Mesquite about 5:00 a.m. We called Robb right before his 10:00 a.m. class to see if he was going to be able to go up to the cabin with us. He had plenty of things to do but probably knew that a middle-aged dad (no offense dad - you don't look nor act like a middle-aged man) and three weak women would not be able to haul everything into the cabin. We stopped off for fuel for said human snow dog at DAIRY KEEN in Heber. Robb was so amazing and willing to sacrifice to get us settled in. Dad helped the most although the last picture where we are all standing around - is mostly for show. Our job was just trying to keep the things on the toboggan from tipping. After Robb had hauled everything in, he brought in wood from the wood box and helped make most of the beds. WE LOVE YOU ROBB!!! Thanks for having pity and compassion on us. Good luck on your Anatomy test - we hope you will be blessed for helping us so much.

Robbie and Dad I didn't thank you enough for making our stay at the cabin so pleasant. I didn't have to help carry things in or warm the cabin so THANK YOU THANK YOU for working so hard to make this weekend possible. Love Ya!!!!
ReplyDeleteHe might be middle aged but Dad Corn was doing a lot more than you might think. He was doing a lot of the pushing. I knew that you couldn't do it without me so I came to pretty much bail you guys out!!!! I'm just kidding. I had a really fun time this weekend and it really wasn't that bad and Sarah and Rachel could have done it blindfolded.
ReplyDeleteNo matter what the effort it was all worth it to be with such great fam and friends. (Easy for me to say since Robb did so much of the heavy stuff.) And let's not forget Mom - a warm cabin is no fun without great food (yum to the max. Mom) and fun games and gamers.
