You younger kids may not have known, but in the early years we would usually head over to 1213 in our Halloween Costumes. It could have been for a couple of reasons. Proud of our costumes?? Could be. Help Grandma and Grandpa not feel so lonely? Maybe, or it could be that they never had trick or treaters and Grandma Cornwall usually had lovely bags with candy from Sees that she was happy to distribute. Thought you might not have seen these pictures before. May the busy Halloween Costume season begin.

Oh mom... that is probably when you got me HOOKED on dressing up for Halloween. That has to be the cutest Tinkerbell, the totally 80's Tigerlilly and most excited Peta... Peta Pan and somewhat reluctant Croc.
ReplyDeleteThis is just too great! I love all the tights (and the white socks), the enthusiasm of Peta Pan and the egg carton crocodile snout...that really is genius! This Cornwall tradition has got to be my favorite, although there are some close seconds.
ReplyDeleteIt still amazes me how much Wendy shifts from looking like Sarah, Rachel, and in these photos, Katie. My fascination is with 1213 in the 80's . Loving' the forest, photo wallpaper. Is that a blue fridge and a photo/magazine page of a guy eating cereal? I would love to hear the story about that one.
