CALIFORNIA DREAMIN'
Rumor has it that one of Katie's dreams was to sit on the beach and just watch her children run and play in the sand and waves. The dream came true last Friday, a warm, windy day at Seal Beach, relished with Grandma's hot dog beach feast. Part of the feast was almost absconded behind our backs when a daring seagull snuck up behind us and snatched away a nearly full bag of potato chips. Fortunately Hannah alerted her mom to the thievery and the bag, being too heavy for the bird to fly off with, gave time for Seth to sprint to his mom's rescue and save our lunch.

And I've been dreaming about being there at that beautiful California beach myself! This looks like such a fun day, even with the attempted theivery of chips! Those kids seem to have just as much fun as anyone can splashing around in those waves and rolling around in the sand. What a great way to spend an October day!
