Bay to LA: Day Three

On Wednesday we rode from New Brighton near Santa Cruz to Monterey. We took an unexpected twenty mile detour to avoid a freeway so it was lovely to arrive in Monterey. We walked around Fisherman's Wharf and rode up the very steep hill to our campsite. We shared the site with a few other cyclists touring around the coast. We'll spend the holiday here in Monterey.

    Looks like it might be a little cool in the morning or evening - whenever that picture was taken and that you might be making friends.

    h,lovely Monterey... a great place to hangout for a couple of days. I will be anxious to hear about the journey to Big Sur.
