CENTERING ON A VISIT

A few weeks ago Mom & Dad had the opportunity to attend a special open house to see the newly remodeled L.A. Temple Visitors Center (with other members of the Stake Presidency).
There is a new entrance and "rotunda" with seamless glass wall facade.
There is a wonderful children's area - already to keep little ones entertained and educated.

The Christus is in a new, very California, background setting.
A very impressive section has an interactive experience regarding old Jerusalem at the time of Jesus.

There are several theaters, many displays, individual viewing stations and lovely fixtures and furnishings throughout. Dad also got a behind-the-scenes tour of other parts of the building a few days before and saw the yet unfinished - L.A. Mission Office - Public Affairs luxury offices, Family History Center (with it's 90 computer stations and teleconferencing center), etc...

We can hardly wait for each of our family to visit.

  1. We had such a wonderful night that night. We can hardly wait to take our children and our grandchildren there? It would be a worth a trip.
