I figured this was a good one to start with n'est-ce pas?
to prove I was there!
My lovely window; it's huge and faces the garden . . . I am in love with it!
This is my desk and all my messy messy cords. My adapter works great (thanks connect) and now we have the internet (clearly) so I can post/skype/stay connected to the rest of the world.
This is looking out the other window across the hall. It's in the middle of a really nice sunny neighborhood full of trees and next to a chateau of Louis 14th!
A lovely staircase leading upstairs to our rooms.
This was the little friend that greeted us this morning in the bathtub. We left him there and he was gone when we got back from church.
Here's our little bathroom and the window. Nothing else to it really.
Here are some rules, to show what a pro our Host-Lady is (she's had lodgers for about 20 years!) So we can do laundry once a week, we get new towels every four days, we have to be considerate of other lodgers etc.
And here are my little stockinged footies feeling very comfortable in this beautiful place!
Great Pictures Rachel. It sounds like you are having fun and are doing well! Where is the back to the toilet? Just teasing! I do have a very strong opinion on one thing there. My strong opinion: Even if you don't want to kill a spider (because you are afraid or your husband is not home to do it for you) do it anyway because its much better to know where it is (dead) then wonder where it is (alive). Spiders and I are not friends.
ReplyDeleteGreat start to the adventure that is Paris!! I could even get homesick seeing all those Parisian touches - although my last time there it was March and rather cold and gray. Glad you are seeing blue skies and flowers!
ReplyDeleteJust think, you "will always have Paris!"
I'm in love with you being in love with Pariee.
ReplyDeleteone word- jealous!!!
