Anderson Labor Day
Most of our day was spent canning. We canned 28 bottles of pears, froze 12 bags of pears, and ate pears until we were sick. They are so good. To celebrate our accomplishment we had pizza for dinner and went to a park with a Frisbee golf course but we ended up spending most of our time on the swing and grasshopper. We then got an ice cream cone. It was a great day!!!

That seems like a really great day for the Andersons. Those yummy pears look like they will continue their yumminess all year.
ReplyDeleteBoy, I am impressed with the industry of you kids. We saw the great work of the Jas Cornwalls. We heard that Robbie bicycled to the beach with Bro. Zeller and to help a family (with 9 kids) move.
My inaugural canning experience was with pears.
ReplyDeleteAnd I still love them more than just about any other fruit.
