About a year and a half ago (it is not exact, but it is has been about that) we got married, we didn't keep our cake topper but Marybeth didn't want us to miss out.
We went back to visit the place where we had our luncheon, it brought back good memories but it looks like it is closed down.
So Marybeth went back to the place where the cake was ordered and got a new one.
Here is the Cake from our wedding night, and I have no idea how it tastes b/c when we cut it we only got frosting, so I got my chance this week.
Here is the recreation in all its glory, Our cake was a little lopsided when it arrived so Marybeth got the topper for free.
The cake was actually really good, I am disappointed that I didn't get the good stuff that night
We continued to "recreate" that time a little over a year ago, so we went to Nantasket Beach where we stayed the night after our Wedding night, The funny thing is it was almost as cold as it was then in December, and it is July.

Happy Unanniversary!! The cake looks delicious. Thanks for documenting the moment. (It does look a little chilly though - we would love a day like that here.)
