Yesterday we had an eventful day. We went to the library and turned in Elizabeth's Summer Reading Chart. She received a certificate and many prizes including a Color book. We also had a picnic at the Library park and watched the ducks. We also went and picked cherries at a ward members house. (I think I am going to make same cherry jam and some cherry cobbler.) This morning I made some raspberry jam for the first time. (I am going to make some homemade rolls and it with the jam. Yummy!!!!)

Well, what two busy, industrious girls you are. I wish I was there to be a part of any or all of it... especially the tasting for the jam and rolls. Good job to Elizabeth on her first summer reading program.
ReplyDeletesounds fun, will you ever get free bowling passes or coupons to fast food places like in monrovia? That would be nice, by doing something you are probably doing with Elizabeth w/o the reading progam
ReplyDeleteHow can our baby be old enough to get a certificate!!! It looked really official. The cherries looked great and congratulations on the jam. Just mentioning jam and rolls made my mouth water.
