Yesterday we went to "Fly a Kite" Kari got one for her birthday some time ago and never gave it a chance to fly, Yesterday was just that day. The kite was pretty entertaining but there was something that stole the attention.

Dog racing, not the kind you are thinking of. But Harley, the dog, seemed very happy to have some wide open spaces, He was really fast, and I think that I am really fast so I put it to a race. Harley, the person, shown here threw the ball for Harley , the dog , to chase and I didn't need anything to chase.

As you can clearly see, it is obvious who won. One of us will think twice before doing that again. (However, I think the better race was Kari, Marybeth, and I. It was another close call.

But I have to say that I enjoyed the picture the most. As most of us were running around like caged dogs, Marybeth was taking some fun shots. I happened to like this one. I did a little editing to it myself. (I don't mind if Marybeth's Portfolio has a few pictures of me in it) Then afterward we went to Dairy Twist and got some ice cream. We had a good time
Saturday, i'in the park... looks like a fun ol' day, dog races and all. It was nice to hear about a fun, simple day.
ReplyDeleteDairy Twist. I have never heard of that only Dairy Queen and Dairy Keen. Funny comment dad!!!
ReplyDeleteThose Zellers know how to have fun. Glad Robb can contribute to that. Thanks for the pictures. Can hardly wait to see Marybeth's entire portfolio.
