EVENING ON THE GREEN

A couple of times a month in the summer the California Philharm*nic does concerts at the Arboretum in Arcadia. Janice invited us to a reserved table, (the high class section). Mom did the picnic. Ohhhh Yummm! The evening was Andrew Lloyd Weber + Puccini (he did a lot of great operas like Madame Butterfly and Tosca). It was a grand evening. The singers were glorious.

Here is a taste of the music for you music lovers. Note: the singer who did Evita starred in the role in the national tour. The finale, of course was selections from Phantom of the Opera.

  3. What a fun special evening. It sure sounds like you had some very talented entertainment. What a blessed country we will live in where we can sit in a beautiful park and listen to the creations of such amazing composers.
