This morning I made a little fort in our basement and Paisley and I (both in our pj's) watched a movie and ate popcorn. Paisley was so excited when she came downstairs and saw the fort, and was even more excited to have popcorn downstairs! I had to use our drying rack to make it tall enough for me to sit under it with her and to make it spacious enough. It is funny because I didn't bother to take the drying clothes off of it, but now that it is on the blog for the world to see, I wish I would have remembered that fact. Oh well, that just makes even more true to our normal life and not posed!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you two Kansas girls have a shuggly basement in which to do fun things together. It's fun for us to picture Paisley getting excited about the fort and the popcorn.
ReplyDeleteOkay, no more fun posts like this. Marybeth is refusing to go back to work and just wants to stay home and build forts and watch Anne of Green Gables all day long. That is very fun. I will just have to convince her that her time will come.

ReplyDeleteSarah, it is freezing cold here so Paisley has been bored out of her mind because we can't go outside so I've been trying to come up with ideas that will help cure her boredom. This was very fun for today, any ideas for tomorrow?
