More Activities with the Whelchel's

We've had some more fun this past weeek. These pictures aren't in order. Yesterday we made the Cornwall's recipe for carmel corn to eat. It was very yummy. It seemed like the perfect Halloween treat. We also made carmel candy bars to take to some of the people that have been lending us the tools we have needed to get all our projects done.
Last week we went to a pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect pumpkin for us. Paisley had a lot of fun. We haven't carved it yet, hopefully we can carve it before Halloween!

Last week's mutual activity was going to a corn maze so we all went along. We had a lot of fun and finished in second place! Go us!!

Dad and I have painted half of Paisley's room and Dad and Jason worked on putting up the chair rail. Today we plan to finish her room so she can start sleeping there instead of in the basement. That green color on top is a lot brighter than I had wanted, but oh well. It'll be cute!

  1. You guys have been working so hard - you will probably sleep all the way to Germany. The progress looks fantastic. Of course you have to go to a corn maze if you live in Kansas!!! It all looks so fun - That Paisley is such a cutie!! Love you Paisley!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Looks great! Working outside during the day and inside when it's dark. How great those Whelchel's are. We are so happy that they are such a big help. I remember when Grandpa Hodgkinson came down and helped me rebuild the front porch. Everytime I go out on the porch I have sweet memories of him in his overalls handing me boards.
