The annual Stake Scripture Chase was held last night. It was a very fun night. Rachel was on the winning team (above) but got some fierce competition from Sister M's class and chased in the finals against Duarte II.
Sarah was in rare form - her first time chasing!!!
I had two teams - here they are chasing against each other.
We played a few games to start the evening.

It was a spectacular evening. Everyone seemed like they were having a blast. And of course with Mom conducting and cheer leading and managing the whole evening what else would be expected. Way to go Sister C's class to keep the scripture chase trophy in Monrovia's possession. A cheer for Mom.... "READEEEEY..CHASE" - I mean "CHEER"!!!
ReplyDeleteWell I must say it just doesn't seem right if the older class doesn't win so Congratulations to Rachel and her team, and Sarah your turn will come. I was bragging to Dallin about the Monrovia ward scripture chase teams. I want to get my seminary scriptures and see if I still have the touch that Mom grilled into us. Thanks for sharing.
